After much soul searching, we've decided to change the title to our screenplay, Heaven Sent. This is the first screenplay Alison McMahan and I wrote together, and it's already had one title change. But after getting a lot of coverage it became clear to us that "Heaven Sent" was not working as a title. After much head scratching, conferring with others, and trolling the internet we've picked Destroying Angel.

Heaven Sent has been selected as one of the 2011 Finalists in the Hollywood Screenplay Contest.  Alison McMahan and I are proud of the honor since the competition was heavy this year.  HEAVEN SENT was in the top 10 finalists in the horror category.

Girl in Trunk, the coming-of-age-contained -heist-thriller by John Leary & Alison McMahan, has been nominated for the CLAW award at the Terror Film Festival in Philadelphia. Our script Heaven Sent was nominated last year.
